Wecome to Careline Theatre. The leading Dramatic society on the Costa Blanca. Providing local audiences with a quality Theatre experience, second to none. We started in 1997 and have gone from strength to strength ever since.
We usually produce three shows during the year based at our own theatre in the heart of Alcalali. Our main production is a Pantomime presented in January, which has delighted audiences for twenty five years. We also have a Dance Academy and a Performing Arts group for our younger members.
We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our cast and crew but equally if you are interested in getting involved in Theatre, but not necessarily in the limelight, there are great opportunities for you behind the scenes.

🎭 OK… OK… WE BOOBOOED! 😅
What did you expect?
Six women, full of energy, always saying, “Let’s do it!”
Sometimes we get a little too enthusiastic, convince ourselves we’ve got everything under control… and then life happens!
When we first picked our dates, they actually worked really well. Then, to avoid clashing with another local theatre production, we decided to move the show to July.
But as July has crept closer, we’ve had to admit something…
☀️ Hotter days…
⚽ The World Cup…
🏖️ School holidays…
✈️ Friends and family visiting…
🍹 And everyone being here, there and everywhere!
So, after much discussion (and only a tiny bit of drama 😉), we looked at it honestly and thought…
Why are we making life difficult for everyone?”
So we’ve decided to move Darlings, You Were Wonderful! to October.
We want to give this wonderful comedy the audience it deserves, and we want you to enjoy it without having to choose between holidays, football, family visits or melting in the summer heat on your way to us… even though we do have lovely air conditioning waiting inside! 😉
Thank you for your understanding, your support and your encouragement. It means the world to all of us at Careline Theatre.
One thing hasn’t changed…
This show is happening.
